Thought of you when I saw this!

from Hull to The Hutt
Thought of you when I saw this!

Almost 2 weeks into the lockdown and the typical fallout is already in evidence :-
– increased wine and chocolate consumption, leading to
– total leisurewear wardrobe since trousers won’t fit any more
– wild man of the woods beard fluff and hair
– insomnia, tiredness and lack of enthusiasm
– blurred line between work and leisure time
At least the infection rates are slowing and a light is appearing at the end of tunnel. In 2 days we drop down to Level 3 lockdown, which is basically existing lockdown with some contactless takeaway options.
So on Weds we are boubd to get another news story of cars queuing round the block for a bucket of fried chicken or a Big Mac.
And before you think I’m looking down my nose I’m not – I’ll be up the road waiting 2 hours for a barista made flat white.
Mmmm coffee *drools*

What to do when you’re stuck in lockdown and not in the mood for watching telly? It’s bowling night!

We have a community case of Covid up in Auckland so the whole country is jumping to Level 4 lockdown to get ahead of it.
Work from home for a week? Quality time with my woman and doggo without road noise and commute?
It’s an introvert’s dream to be honest. But you can’t openly admin that can you?
It’s been a while! Tried upgrading to a Switch but not as intuitive or fun to use so it’s going on TradeMe. Not sure I dare getting weighed right now …

When your brilliant friends invite you over for a meal and do you a cheese board because they know you don’t eat carrot cake. Ooooh yeah!
Just wanted to show how beautiful Upper Hutt can be, particularly in the early morning light; all photos taken on the mobile phone during dog walks this year.
